Winter Wedding Guest Style Tips:

1- Add dark opaque tights to a short dress.
2- Forget what you have always been told...black is acceptable and it is in for weddings.
3- Add fur (coat, collar, shawl, scarf...you get the picture).
4-Darker, warmer tones are best. Think jewel tones.
5-Play with something longer than you normally would.
6-Try something a little more formal. Even if it is not a formal wedding, in the winter it is acceptable, especially past 5pm.*
7-Play with a long formal skirt and a more toned down top. Think silk/sequins on the bottom and lose soft sweater on top.
8-Sequins, but keep the rest of the outfit toned down...Sequins are already enough attention when you are not the bride.
9-Have some fun with a great hair/head piece...are you daring enough to try a fascinator?
10-A jump (pant) suit.

*Always consider the venue, the brides style and the time of day to gauge how formal the wedding might be. Traditionally anything after 5pm is formal but if you know the venue is a barn and the bride is a little more rustic than glam take that into consideration and maybe add a pair of great boots.

XO,
Jenna

In my world style, humor, great food, a little fun and a lot of love are definite requirements.
