I quickly realized how time consuming it actually is to be a blogger when you already have a full time job. So, I started with Instagram (which I was fine with because I also love to photograph and document).
The below image is my first Mavelle Style Instagram post one year ago today!

After leaving the wedding and event design world, where I "played" and was creative everyday for 5 years, I needed this for me! Having Mavelle has been my creative outlet. A way to share what inspires me, what I am passionate about, what I love, and what I find inspiring and beautiful in my daily surroundings. For me, Mavelle has been a great way to connect with others who share the same passions as I do and I hope in some way, through Mavelle, I have done that for my fans.
Getting Mavelle Style off the ground and running has been a slow progression because this year has also been full of the unexpected and the time consuming realities of family, work and life but I promise (mainly to myself) not to walk away because I have plans for Mavelle that go beyond Instagram or blogging. Today, I would not consider myself a blogger...but I do have a blog so that is a start and that is exactly what it is...a start. I guess you will have to stick around to see where I plan to go with this next.
I hope I have inspired you in one way or another, whether it be to try a new recipe or to try a new way to wear something that is already hanging in your closet. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you. Thank you for your continued support and for inspiring me everyday!
